About Live Like Hayes Foundation
The Live Like Hayes Foundation was created to honor the memory of Hayes Tyler Crawford, a young boy whose heart for Jesus and passion for serving others left an enduring legacy. Hayes lived just 9 short years on this Earth, but in that time, he made an unforgettable impact by embodying the teachings of Matthew 22:36-40, which call us to love God and love our neighbors as ourselves.
On December 13, 2022, Hayes unexpectedly stepped into Heaven, leaving behind not only his family and friends but also a mission that would continue in his name. We believe that his journey didn’t end that day—it was just the next step in God’s plan for his life. Through the Live Like Hayes Foundation, we aim to keep his legacy alive by carrying out the mission God placed on his heart: to serve others and spread love in tangible ways.
Hayes' Big Heart and Legacy of Love
Even at his young age, Hayes understood the importance of helping others. His kindness wasn't just something he expressed in small moments—it was woven into the fabric of who he was. From helping to serve food to the homeless, to dreaming about ways to help people across the world, Hayes was always looking for ways to make a difference.
One day, after helping feed the homeless, Hayes told his mom, “It’s okay that we aren’t traveling to be missionaries. Feeding the homeless is helping people, too.” He had an intuitive understanding of what it meant to care for others, no matter where you were or what your circumstances were. This sense of compassion and generosity is central to the mission of the Live Like Hayes Foundation. In his honor, we aim to spread this same love to others, whether through helping those in need, supporting local communities, or giving children and families the support they deserve.
Looking Ahead: Continuing Hayes' Legacy
At the Live Like Hayes Foundation, we are deeply committed to honoring Hayes’ legacy through all of our programs and initiatives. Hayes lived with a heart full of love, generosity, and compassion, and our foundation exists to ensure that this legacy continues to touch lives.
